Wstępne oględziny amplitunera wskazały oczywiście na charakterystyczne dla tego wieku szumy lub trzaski przy przełączaniu źródeł, czy np. włączaniu pokręteł tonów niskich i wysokich. Serwis Pioneer sx-950 pozwala na usunięcie tych typowych usterek i przywrócenie pełnej sprawności urządzenia.

Czas zacząć od wyczyszczenia potencjometrów i wszystkich przełączników. Usuń stary smar i naloty z utlenionej miedzi. Przede wszystkim należy pamiętać, że potencjometry po wyczyszczeniu nie powinny pracować zbyt luźno – jest to objaw braku smaru, który był i jest niezbędny do prawidłowej pracy. Wszystkie zostały wylutowane.

Czyszczenie wstępne w myjce ultradźwiękowej w celu rozpuszczenia starego smaru.

Demontaż przełączników i czyszczenie styków.

Po wyczyszczeniu potencjometrów i przełączników czas przyjrzeć się wartościom podzespołów płytki zasilającej.

Płyta zasilacza (AWR-101)

Niektóre jednostki z tej serii (też takie spotkałem) miały na płytce zasilacza zamontowany kondensator C12: 1000uF 35v ACH-039, który oczywiście został zastąpiony przez Nichicon serii UPW 2200uf 35v (bardzo długa żywotność). Później był montowany fabrycznie. Płyta zasilacza (AWR-101) zawiera dwanaście aluminiowych kondensatorów elektrolitycznych C10 do C16, C18 do C21 i C23. Wszystkie zastąpiono niskoimpedancyjnymi kondensatorami Elna i Nichicon UPW/UPM, FG.

Wymieniono także wszystkie tranzystory na tej płycie, aby poprawić niezawodność zasilania. Powinni przejść na emeryturę po ciężkiej pracy przez ostatnie 45 lat. Poniżej znajduje się lista tranzystorów oryginalnych i zamienników, których użyłem. Na radiatorze zamontowane są cztery tranzystory Q1, Q2, Q8 i Q9. Stare podkładki termiczne zostały wymienione na nowe mikowe. Stara pasta termoprzewodząca została odświeżona nową silikonową pastą termoprzewodzącą.

Układ zabezpieczający w Pioneer SX-950 ma taką samą konstrukcję jak w Pioneer SX-1010. Są dwa kondensatory (C1, C2) i cztery aluminiowe kondensatory elektrolityczne (C3 do C6). Dwa kondensatory sprzęgające Sanyo. Wymieniłem je na kondensatory z folii poliestrowej Wima. Pozostałe aluminiowe również zastąpiono niskoimpedancyjnymi Nichiconami z serii UPW i FG.

Wymieniłem oryginalny tranzystor 2SC1384 na nowy Fairchild KSC2690. Nowy tranzystor ma takie same piny jak oryginalny. Dodałem również do obwodu diodę bezpieczeństwa (1N4004G), aby zapobiec potencjalnemu uszkodzeniu wyjścia. Dioda bezpieczeństwa została przylutowana między pinami 9 (anoda, „+”) i 10 (katoda, „-”). Oczywiście wszystkie pozostałe tranzystory również zostały wymienione.

Płytka wzmacniająca dźwięk (AWG-039):

Płytka wzmacniacza tonów ma dwa stałe kondensatory tantalowe (C25, C26), osiem kondensatorów elektrolitycznych (C13, C14, C15, C16, C19, C20, C23, C24) i dwa kondensatory aluminiowe (C21, C22).

Oryginalne kondensatory tantalowe zostały zastąpione kondensatorami poliestrowymi Wima. Wszystkie oryginalne kondensatory o niskim upływie zostały zastąpione nowymi kondensatorami o niskim upływie Nichicon. Ostatecznie dwa aluminiowe kondensatory filtrujące (C21, C22) zostały zastąpione niskoomowymi kondensatorami Nichicon FG.

Dwa oryginalne tranzystory NPN (Q1 i Q2) to 2SC1312. Tranzystor ten z czasem staje się bardzo głośny. Wymieniłem oba oryginalne na nowy cichy Fairchild KSA1845. Trzeba zwrócić uwagę na rozmieszczenie pinów nowego tranzystora! Oryginalny tranzystor to BCE, a nowy to ECB.

Płytka wzmacniacza płaskiego (AWG-038):

Płaska płyta wzmacniacza ma cztery kondensatory o niskim wycieku zainstalowane w ścieżce sygnału (C1, C2, C5, C6), cztery stałe kondensatory tantalowe (C17, C18, C23, C24), dwa kondensatory o niskim wycieku (C25, C26) i trzy aluminiowe – filtrujące (C13, C14, C27).

Dwa kondensatory (C1, C2) zamontowane w torze sygnału wejściowego zostały zastąpione foliowymi kondensatorami poliestrowymi WIMA. Pozostałe cztery niskoupływowe kondensatory elektryczne i cztery kondensatory tantalowe zostały zastąpione nowymi kondensatorami o niskim upływie firmy Nichicon. Pozostałe trzy aluminiowe kondensatory filtrujące (C13, C14, C27) zastąpiono niskoomowymi kondensatorami Nichicon.

Dwa oryginalne tranzystory PNP (Q5 i Q6) zainstalowane na tej płycie to 2SA725. Awaria tego tranzystora zwykle skutkuje trzaskaniem/trzaskaniem. Wymieniłem oba na nowe, Fairchild KSA992. Po raz kolejny trzeba zwrócić uwagę na nowe tranzystory! Oryginalny tranzystor to BCE, a nowy to ECB.

Płytka korekcyjna EQ (AWF-011):

Oryginalne tranzystory PNP (Q1 i Q2) zainstalowane w pierwszym stopniu to 2SA725. Awaria tego tranzystora zwykle skutkuje trzaskaniem/trzaskaniem. Wymieniłem oba na nowe – Fairchild KSA992. Ponownie musisz sprawdzić układ pinów na nowych tranzystorach. Oryginalny tranzystor to BCE, a nowy to ECB.

Dwa kondensatory sprzęgające (C1, C2) zainstalowane w ścieżce sygnału wejściowego to Sanyo. Wymieniłem je na kondensatory z folii poliestrowej WIMA, aby poprawić stosunek sygnału do szumu. Dwa niskoszczelne kondensatory (C11, C12) zostały wymienione na nowe Nichicon UPW. A pozostałe aluminiowe kondensatory elektrolityczne (C7, C8, C17, C18) wymieniono na niskoomowe kondensatory Nichicon UPW.

C1: pojemność znamionowa – 1 uF, zmierzona – 1,5 uF

C2: pojemność znamionowa – 1 uF, zmierzona – 1,4 uF

C7: pojemność znamionowa-330uF, zmierzona-356uF

C8: pojemność znamionowa-330uF, zmierzona-377uF

C11: pojemność znamionowa – 3,3 uF, zmierzona – 4,2 uF

C12: pojemność znamionowa – 3,3 uF, zmierzona – 4,4 uF

C18: pojemność znamionowa-220uF, zmierzona-180uF

Oświetlenie odbiornika:

Wszystkie oryginalne żarówki STANLEY w tej oprawie zostały zastąpione nowymi ciepłymi białymi żarówkami LED (oprawa klinowa 8V). Każda lampa jest wkładana do osobnego gniazda i jest bardzo łatwa do wymiany.

Regulacja napięć DC i Bias:

Na koniec moich prac wyregulowałem napięcie DC i Bias na końcówce mocy zgodnie z instrukcją serwisową. Przed regulacją usunięto dwie zworki i podłączono rezystor 5,1 kΩ do gniazd POWER IN.

Przesunięcie DC w lewym kanale jest mierzone między pinami 10 i 9. W prawym kanale jest mierzone między pinami 25 i 24. Przesunięcie DC powinno być ustawione jak najbliżej zera za pomocą rezystorów dostrajających VR1 i VR2.

Regulacja prądów spoczynkowych lewego kanału jest mierzona między pinami 12 (+) i 13 (-). Na prawym kanale mierzony jest między pinami 27 (+) i 28 (-). Bias powinien być ustawiony na ~20mV z rezystorami dostrajającymi VR3 i VR4, których nie trzeba było wymieniać.

Renowacja frontu, czyszczenie pokręteł, montaż nowej szyby frontowej oraz renowacja obudowy:

Front odbiornika był w nienagannym stanie, ale wymagał wymiany szkła, które było okropnie porysowane. Montaż nowego szkła pokazuje bardzo staranne wykonanie sitodruku skali FM.

Porysowany front również przeszedł rewitalizację, dzięki czemu większość rys zniknęła.any front również przeszedł rewitalizację, dzięki czemu większość rys zniknęła.

Po usunięciu rys zabrałem się za remont obudowy. Chciałem odtworzyć ten sam kolor. Okleinę zostawiłem w oryginale, bo nie miała uszkodzeń (co po tylu latach jest bardzo rzadkie!). Kolor uzyskałam po lekkim przyciemnieniu Starwaxem. Po całym dniu zastosowano wosk polerski włoskiego producenta Cera Lucidante, który po wyschnięciu dogłębnie odżywia i zabezpiecza.
